John Wills (Ship) logbook, 1856-1856.

The logbook of the ship John Wills details a shipping voyage from Newburyport, MA, to Calcutta Jan. 1856-May 1856. The ship's home port was Newburport, MA; the owners were unknown ; the master was Charles Ward; the logbook keeper was unknown. The Captain of the John Wills became ill a couple of weeks before reasching Calcutta and appears to have been replaced on the way back to Boston by a Captain Ward.
